IMO, the Dingle Peninsula is the one place you cannot miss. Fabulous views (even for being overcast), harrowing roads (take a sidewalk, divide it in half... put a tour bus on one side... now find room for your car...). Great pub with music (Yellow Submarine I think was the pubs name). Calling ahead for a B&B is a good idea here, as it was the one place we really had trouble getting a place to stay. Ended up at a very nice one outside of town, but it was beyond "stumbling distance", and this would have been a good town for that (good pub, good music). And they could only let us stay one night (fully booked the next night). So we packed up, did the coastal road tour (a must do), stopped to hike at the pass over the mountains, and headed north.
